Hadley WoodThis project was for a high end property developer who wanted to add value to this stunning home with some advanced home entertainment and security features.
The final specification was developed over a series of meetings to include all the features a home of this standard deserves. Audio is available throughout the home from local and internet streaming services. Video from the central equipment rack can be viewed in Full HD on any of the eight installed TVs or on the main cinema screen, with easy control from handheld remotes, any tablet or smart phone. A central movie system gives access to a collection of movie titles in any of the main rooms. Security was a very important feature so we added Full HD IP CCTV that covers the grounds and the gate. This can be viewed both at home and away on the installed touch screen or on mobile phones. Lighting control can set moods and interact with the security system giving the client convenience and peace of mind. The lighting control keypads were also programmed to control the audio visual system giving one touch control over the system. For example, the engraved keypad by the front door can turn the whole home lighting and AV off and set the home to holiday mode. The cinema is a combination of some of our favourite equipment, with Artcoustic speakers powered by Yamaha amplification. For the seating we recommended CineItalia to our client and after a visit to one of our demonstration facilities he agreed that the design and quality of these seats is exactly what the cinema needed. This large property also features a Coach House for staff so we configured the Control4 system to allow audio/video communication with the main house and gate access control. |
